While the other local teams picked up losses Friday night, the Oldham County Colonels closed the regular season in style, knocking out host Jeffersontown 16-12.
Senior running back Jacob Taylor got things started for the Colonels, ripping off a 51-yard scoring run just two minutes into the game.
That was short-lived though as the Chargers returned the favor a play later, taking the ensuing kickoff 100 yards to cut the lead to 7-6. Their attempt at the PAT failed however as a bad snap prevented them from evening the score.
