Members of the Oldham-La Grange Development Authority voted Wednesday to ask county government to foot the bill for a portion of legal fees related to a second round of negotiations with The Hocker Group.
In November, Judge-Executive Duane Murner announced an agreement with The Hocker Group from March 2008 to develop a portion of Oldham Reserve as a retail center fell through. Murner cited the current economy as the reason the agreement fell through. D. Talmage Hocker, president of The Hocker Group, originally planned to develop 180 acres in Oldham Reserve. At the time, Hocker said he planned to bring a retail shopping center to the area.
