People offering rental properties within the City of Goshen may soon have to pay an annual fee, as well as obtain a one-time license from the city before renting. The first reading of an ordinance that would impose an annual $500 fee for any person or business renting real property in the City of Goshen took place at the City of Goshen Commission’s April meeting. According to the ordinance, any property owner who leases his or her property to someone else is deemed as engaged in the business of renting properties.
