Oldham County Sewer District will pay grant writers nearly $25,000 to write grant applications for necessary funding.
Sewer District board members held a special meeting Monday and approved allowing grant writers from two different companies to handle grant applications in hopes of securing more than $1.5 million in funds.
Rob Nicholas, a representative of Veolia Water, which oversees Oldham County’s sewer system, said the grant writers will be paid between $20,000 and $25,000.
