BUCKNER – A 12-run third inning was too much as the Oldham County High School Colonels found their batting eye at the right time rolling past South Oldham 13-2 Monday.
The win gives the Colonels a 5-0 district record and clinched the No. 1 seed in the upcoming district tournament.
“It’s nice knowing we will be the No. 1 seed,” OCHS coach Scott Gerlach said. “Now we have some options with our pitching and even our hitting. It definitely gives us more flexibility.”
