OC lacrosse closes regular season with win

The Oldham County High School Lacrosse team ended its regular season with a hard-fought win May 2, edging the visiting Northern Kentucky Warriors 7-6 on Senior Night. Midfielder Chad Szczublewski Jr. led the scoring for the Colonels in the win with three goals, and Carson Axtell chipped in two of his own. The pair have been especially hot in the last five games with Szczublewski Jr. scoring 15 goals and Axtell adding 10. Goalie Austin Frerman made 15 saves against the Warriors and has made 48 saves in the past five games.
