OB/GYN elected medical staff president

Baptist Hospital Northeast in La Grange recently elected medical staff officers.
Dr. Amy Richardson, obstetrics/gynecology, has been elected 2011 Medical Staff president. She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her obstetrics/ gynecology residency there in 2004.
She was honored as Baptist Northeast’s Physician of the Year in 2009.
Other medical staff officers for 2011 include Dr. Keerthi Kemparajurs, family medicine, presidentelect; Dr. Madonna Ringswald, internal medicine, secretary/ treasurer; Dr. Ervin Anaya, pulmonary medicine; Dr. Brooks Jackson, urology; and at-large members; Dr. Timothy Spaulding, obstetrics/ gynecology, perinatal department chair; Dr. Diane Wetherton, pediatrics, perinatal department vice-chair; Dr. Keerthi Kemparajurs, medicine department chair; Dr. R.T. Ellis, internal medicine, medicine department vice-chair; Dr. Thomas Hart, general surgery, surgery department chair; and Dr. Danielle Mann, obstetrics/ gynecology, surgery department vice-chair.
In other hospital staffing news, Tim Ernst has been named director of environmental services at Baptist Northeast. An employee of Aramark, which provides environmental services for the hospital, he comes to Baptist Northeast from Baptist Regional Medical Center, where he was assistant director of environmental services for two years.
Prior to that, he worked in his family’s tree care and landscaping business in Chicago.
