Norton Commons Farmers Market opens April 4

The Norton Commons Farmers Market opens for the season April 4.  In addition to seasonal produce, the market sells grass-fed beef, certified organic poultry and vegetables, pork and sausage, lamb, pasture-raised eggs, baked goods, honey,  jams and preserves, native perennials and other potted plants, cool-season vegetable and perennial plants, herb plants, bedding plants and hanging baskets. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Nov. 7. The market is located at 9420 Norton Commons Blvd., Prospect.
