North Oldham’s Brianne Brown won the State Championship in the 2A Girls Long Jump in May by breaking the state meet record held for 38 years with a jump of 18 feet, 6.5 ianches.
During halftime of the Aug. 24 football game between North Oldham and Oldham County, Brown received her state championship ring from Athletic Director Tom Clemons, Head Coach Alan Yanke and Long Jump Coach Craig Grimm. Brown was escorted by her parents, Rene and Carolyn Brown.
