Inmate escapes from women’s prison A Louisville robber serving a five-year sentence walked away from the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women outside Pewee Valley about 11 a.m. Sunday. Prison officials say 25-year-old Amanda Crenshaw was reported missing from the minimum security unit at about 12:30 p.m. Crenshaw was serving a 5-year sentence for Jefferson County convictions of second-degree robbery.
