Limbs littering Pewee Valley will have to wait until later
Pewee Valley residents shouldn’t expect any lingering storm damage to be cleaned up anytime soon by city government.
Council member Dick Filippini said the city has already spent about $4,500 clearing limbs broken off by the winds on Sept. 14, and has removed most of the dangerous ones.
He said any other dangling limbs will have to wait until winter, when they can hire a tree service for about half price.
