Storm water rate could be $4.05
Oldham County Fiscal Court’s utilities committee met Monday to discuss a rate proposed by the county’s storm water board.
Board chair Kevin Eldridge recommended a five-year average rate of $4.05, as opposed to the Storm Water Action Committee’s proposal of $5 per month for homes and businesses.
The fee, paid annually, funds an EPA program to control storm water quality in the county. Pewee Valley and La Grange are not included in the county’s program.
