A law passed by state legislators last week won’t have any effect on the end of school for Oldham County Schools this year.
The law allows school districts to extend their school day to make up hours lost to cancelations for winter weather and sets June 6 as the last day of school if a district so chooses.
A school district can end their year before June 6, if they have the correct amount of educational hours achieved before then, as well.
