Neelly makes Idol's Top 100

A North Oldham High School student who got a golden ticket to Hollywood in July left American Idol during Thursday's episode. 

Brandy Neelly, who appeared on the Hollywood week episodes of American Idol made it to the Top 100.

During Wednesday night's competition, after she stumbled on the lyrics to Cee Lo Green's "Forget You," judge Randy Jackson remarked that she held on by the skin of her teeth, but lauded her for not giving up.

Neelly has shared her talent throughout the region at various singing competitions.
