GOSHEN – Needing to replace quarterback Dylan Grandon and several top receivers, the North Oldham Mustangs stayed true to their bread and butter running attack this summer opting to spend more work on the nuances of the ground game rather than the seven-on-seven passing leagues.
“We had a good summer, it’s typically not our style of play to throw a lot,” NOHS coach Billy Martin said. “When we did play, we competed. We had some guys make some plays that will help us next year and showed us a bit of what they can do.”
