A local school bus driver’s dedication to keeping students safe and happy on the way to and from school has earned national recognition, thanks to an appreciative La Grange fourth-grader. It all started when 10-year-old Andrew of Buckner Elementary in Oldham County nominated driver Lisa Bisenius for Thomas Built Buses’ second annual Children’s Choice School Bus Driver of the Year national essay contest.
