North Oldham High School graduate and Transylvania University senior Kelly Spratte-Lennington was recently inducted into the Holleian Society.

The Holleian Society was established in 1960 for the encouragement of liberal art studies. Students are selected by faculty on the basis of academic achievement and must place in the top 10 percent of the class to even be considered for the honor. The society is named for Horace Holley, president of Transylvania from 1818-27.

Spratte-Lennington, a biology and psychology double major, is the daughter of Stephen and Kay Spratte-Lennington of Goshen.
