LOUISVILLE – There won’t be a long bus ride this time – the Louisville RiverBlades are going to the show. The RiverBlades, a synchronized ice skating team with four members from Oldham County, are set to fly into history instead of their usual bus trips around the region by becoming the first team from the state to qualify for the national meet in Providence, R.I., Feb. 20-23. “I am excited we’re not going on a bus, but on a plane this time,” Emily Lacker said.
