A Louisville woman charged with selling counterfeit purses at her Crestwood store earlier this year will not serve jail time.
Stacey Hayes, owner of The Brick House on Ky. 22 in Crestwood, faced charges of counterfeiting intellectual property after investigators discovered wallets and purses with counterfeit designer labels.
Investigators found several items with a fake Coach label.
Oldham District Court Judge Diane Wheeler sentenced Hayes to 12 months in jail, two years conditionally discharged.
