Local dance and cheer squads compete in Frankfort

With a season’s worth of work under their belt, four local dance and cheerleading squads took to the floor in state competition Feb. 23, hoping to be the last team standing.
The Oldham County dance team had a day to remember in Frankfort, earning two top-three finishes, including second place out of nine teams in the small jazz division and third out of 14 teams in the small hip hop division.
The North Oldham squad also grabbed third place in the large open division and fourth in the large hip hop division.
