Local artists awarded

The 15th annual Arts on the Green, presented by the Arts Association of Oldham County (AAOC) was held on June 7-8 on the La Grange Courthouse Square. This year, the juried fine arts and crafts festival featured more than 130 artists showcasing original handcrafted paintings and drawings, mixed media, photography, ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, consumables, metal, yard art, wood and fiber.

Glass artist, Sergio Vettori DeAlmeida, won Best of Show. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Arts on the Green, a new category, Champion of the Arts, was awarded to mixed media artist, Ada Asenjo.
