Littlefield honored for academics

Former Oldham County football standout and current Murray State University lineman Zach Littlefield has been honored for his academic accomplishments.

Littlefield has been recognized by the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) for Academic Excellence, being named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

This is his third year to be recognized for this honor.

To be eligible, a student athlete must have achieved at least a 3.25 GPA and have been eligible and participated in an NCAA sponsored sport and used a season of competition.  

Littlefield is currently first team right guard for the Racers.

The Buckner native’s major is exercise science pre-physical therapy.
