Little Colonel Players opening 2014 season

-A A +A

The Little Colonel Players present Guilty Conscience, by Richard L. Levinson and William Link, and directed by Theresa Wentzel, opening Feb. 13 at the Little Colonel Playhouse, 302 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley.

An intricate thriller from the collaborators of the TV show “Murder, She Wrote,” Guilty Conscience is the story of a brilliant and ruthless criminal attorney who plots to kill his wife and tests each scenario in the courtroom of his mind. He creates an imaginary prosecutor and pits himself against his alter ego in a series of witty, sometimes hostile exchanges. Again and again he is frustrated, unable to formulate the ultimate alibi. He is shocked when he learns his wife and someone else are simultaneously planning to kill him.

“The playwrights have a dandy time manipulating us into believing one thing, then switch on the lights and merrily exclaim, ‘Surprise’…Wonderful dialogue and satiric jabs at criminal justice.” - Miami Sun Sentinel

Reservations are available two weeks prior to opening night and can be made by calling (502) 588-1557. Adult tickets are $15; Senior Citizen (60+) and Student tickets are $12, cash or check only.
