Liberty Elementary: Kids helping kids

Fourth-grade students at Liberty Elementary transformed into backpack tycoons as they spent two months running a business.

The class formed a company, “Bags R’ Us,” to learn what it takes to run a business and raise money for charity in the process.

Megan Winkle was one of the class’ top sellers.

“We learned the five most important factors that go into creating a business,” she said, “organization, manufacturing, advertising, distribution and customer satisfaction.”
