Resident wants to camp in city
To the editor:
Dear Government,
Please let us make a fire in the city limit. I want to go camping and make a fire, but I can’t.

Group enjoyed time spent in downtown La Grange
To the editor:
Our gratitude to Barbara Edds for helping us see the beauty in your town of La Grange, Kentucky. Barbara was very active in helping us plan a successful group tour and she went out of her way to make sure we were aware of the many sights that LaGrange has to offer.
Our group enjoyed the Thursday “Girls’ Night Out” in downtown La Grange, an ice cream social on Friday evening and a Saturday evening Ghost Walk through the downtown area. Barbara found the time to be our guest on Thursday when we ventured to Madison, Ind. and on our Sunday morning drive. She’s a good photographer and managed to capture amazing photos of our cars along the back roads of Oldham County.
Barbara was kind enough to ask business owners for coupons for our guests to use when they patronized the local stores and got us maps of the town and surrounding areas as well as brochures of things to see and do.
Thank you for your warm hospitality and we look forward to coming back to visit your area.

Residents grateful to clean-up crews during storms
To the editor:
The residents of Old Taylor Place neighborhood would like to thank the crews who worked so hard to remove all the downed tree limbs.
The ice and wind storm took a toll on many of our mature and young trees. We appreciate your many trips to remove the tree limbs and for hauling them away.
