Ironman is an ‘unacceptable risk’To the editor:I hate to rain on everyone’s parade, but in light of the pending lawsuit why are we continuing to have our county participate in the Ironman event?There is no upside for us having this event clog our roads and possibly leading to another rabid cyclist wreck his/her bike then file a second lawsuit. On U.S. 42 many bikers fail to observe the laws of the road which will eventually lead to the inadvertent death of someone.
