CASA program seeks volunteersTo the editor:In my training to become a CASA volunteer in 2006, I was handed an article titled “The Children’s Bill of Rights.” That article has been forever imprinted in my mind. You can find it online at ChildrensRights.com but it is an excerpt taken from a book written by attorney Michael L. Oddenino, titled “Putting Kids First: Walking Away From a Marriage Without Walking Over the Kids.” Oddenino wrote the book after going through his own divorce and observed the detrimental effects the divorce had on his children.
