LETTER: Murner family thanks community for support

To the editor:
The Murner family thanks the people of this community for their support and prayers following the death of our dear Chris – son to Anne and Duane, husband to Lori, father to Daniel and Jessie.  In every way you have helped us through a difficult and sad time and we are grateful.
To the many who were with us on Thursday and Friday, we say thank you.  Your demonstration of compassion and caring lifted our spirits and eased our pain.  It was especially gratifying and inspiring to see so many young athletes present to pay their respects.  
To those who showed their desire to keep us strong with food, we say thank you. To those who took time to find the perfect card, please know they were well received and are treasured.
For flowers, prayer blankets, Mass intentions, designated donations and, most especially, prayers, we thank all of you for your thoughtfulness.
You have engulfed us in your love and we thank you.
