BUCKNER - Late or not, Eric Dunlap's tip-in of his own missed shot at the buzzer was the game-winner Tuesday as the Oldham County Colonels beat Nelson County 62-60.
"It might have been late, but a win is a win," Dunlap said. "It bounced right back at me. I was trying to get fouled and when I missed I knew I had to attack the basket and get a hand on it."
The tip-in left Nelson County stunned after the Cardinals led through much of the game only to fall behind to a furious OCHS comeback in the final four minutes.
