The LaGrange Rotary Club is pleased to announce the October students of the month from Oldham County High School, Benjamin Finch and Griffin Bowling and from the Arvin Education Center, Kaylee Kroyer.

Griffin is unsure of his career goals but hopes it will benefit others in a large way.   He has narrowed his college choices to UL, Cincinnati or Ohio State.  School Activities include: Senior Fraternity, Beta Club, as well as President of the Associated Student Body.  Griffin is a member of the OCHS Football Team as well as a Thrower for the Track & Field team.   He works at All About Kids as a lifeguard and swim instructor and his honors and awards include placing second in the Region and 13th in the State for Discus in 2013 and was also voted prettiest eyes in my class last year.

Kaylee has a clear cut goal to be a pastry chef and perhaps own her own bakery.  She plans to pursue her education at UL or Johnson and Wales.  Her activities at school include: ASB Student Council, Drama Dept, and Sigma Sigma Gamma.  While outside of school she is interested in attending Crestwood Baptist and loves going on Mission Trips.  Her honors and awards include: 1st Place in Commercial Baking at SkillsUSA Regional Competition, 2nd Place in Food Innovations at the FCCLA Regional Competition.
