The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety honored officers from across the Commonwealth at the 2013 Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony held last week at the Marriott Louisville East.
Trooper Barrett Brewer, of La Grange, was recognized for having the most DUI arrests at KSP Post 5 during the past year. Trooper Brewer’s efforts to enhance traffic safety led to the arrests of 95 persons for DUI. Trooper Brewer is currently assigned to Henry and Oldham counties. He is a 2-year veteran of the Kentucky State Police.
