Kennard Stephenson Jr., 85, of Crestwood, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Friendship Manor Nursing Home.
He was born in Albany, N.Y. on July 6, 1926.  
He was a U.S. Army veteran and sergeant of the 29th infantry regiment.
He then attended Princeton University, obtaining a master’s degree in chemical engineering.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann, in 1985; and son, Lee in 2011.
