Justin Kantor has been promoted to Cadet Airman in Civil Air Patrol and received the Major General John F. Curry Achievement Award.
The award is named in honor of Civil Air Patrol’s first national commander during the early days of World War II.
The ceremony took place recently at the U.S. Army Reserve Center, located at Bowman Field.
Cadet Airman Justin Kantor joined Civil Air Patrol in January and is a member of Louisville Composite Squadron KY-039. He is an eighth-grader and is homeschooled in Oldham County.
