History Hounds preschool program

-A A +A

The Oldham County History Center has changed the name of our popular History Tots program to History Hounds.  Preschool aged children can visit the History Center each Thursday to explore history and learn about the world around them and their place in it. This program will help tots become acquainted with the customs, cultural practices and achievements of people who lived long ago as well as current individuals who are making history every day. This is a free educational outreach program that will include crafts, music, storytelling, games and taking a look at artifacts relating to Oldham County’s history. Some sessions will include special guests who will present a history lesson in a fun, entertaining way.  The fall session will begin on Thursday, Oct. 2 and run through Nov. 20.  It will consist of eight programs held from 10-11 a.m. in the Rob Morris Educational Building on the History Center Grounds.

Registration is not necessary.  For more information call the History Center at:  502-222-0826.
