Helga Palzer, 80, of Crestwood, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012.
She immigrated to this country from Germany in 1952.
Palzer spent most of her working career near Chicago and has been retired for the past 20 years in Kentucky.
Her favorite hobbies were needlepoint, cross stitch and bird watching. She produced many beautiful pieces and was admired for her talent and energy.
