Harmony students participate in handwashing exercise

The flu bug is back. In four short weeks, the state of Kentucky has progressed from “sporadic” to “widespread” classification for flu cases. Vicki Green, Harmony Elementary School’s full-time registered nurse, has taken action to help keep students healthy. Green visited each class within the school to discuss the importance of hand-washing to prevent illness. Class visits included discussing the proper way to wash hands as well as a hand-washing experiment.
