Goshen students earn diplomas from Denison

Two Goshen students recently graduated from Denison University.

Lyndsey Susan Dearmond earned a bachelor of science degree with a major in biology. Dearmond is the daughter of Robert and Sue Dearmond of Goshen and a graduate of South Oldham High School.

A consistent dean’s list student, Dearmond was a recipient of the Mary Carr Scholarship and a member of the Phi Society. She volunteered for Habitat for Humanity committees as a part of the Denison Community Association. She also participated in the tae kwon do club and the outing club and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega.

Kellina Claiborne King earned a bachelor of arts degree magna cum laude with a double major in psychology and educational studies. King is the daughter of Edward and Nancy King of Goshen and a graduate of Castle High School.

A consistent dean’s list student, King was a recipient of the Alumni Award and a member of Psi Chi, the national psychology honorary. She volunteered for the Denison Community Association and worked as a staff member for the August orientation program. She played intramural soccer and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
