Goshen home to be torn down amid insurance battle

A vacant, boarded up structure that used to be a home on Harmony Landing Road in Goshen will soon be demolished after a decision by Oldham County Fiscal Court.
Homeowners Shane and Lira Armstrong have been locked in a lawsuit with their insurance company since their home burned in February 2010, and the lengthy legal process has prompted safety concerns in the community.
The fire burned the home to the brick outer walls.
