You are invited to stroll through thousands of blooms and quiet spaces at The Everchanging Garden, 5503 Cross Creek Rd. and the Breeden’s Garden at 5601 Largo Lane in Crestwood as they open their gardens for the annual “Planting for a Cure” tour and plant sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28. The sale of daylilies and other perennials will benefit Gilda’s Club.
While home to many annuals, perennials, art sculptures, a woodland garden, water plants and a built-in waterfall, The Everchanging Garden is an official American Hemerocallis Society (daylily) garden, with more than 800 varieties in full bloom all summer
“We often encourage artists to find a quiet corner and set up their easels here,” said Becky Scarboro. “The Everchanging Garden is a respite from hurried life. We love inviting others to see it, and our plant sale for Gilda’s Club offers a way for people to take a little of the garden home with them.”
