In honor of International Womens Day and Kentucky Women’s History month, the Prospect Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a one-day women’s leadership conference.
The event will provide a wealth of knowledge in areas that affect personal and professional development. Women who attend will have the opportunity to network and interact with other business women in our area.
Four different sessions, presented by local female professionals, will take place during the day long event in addition to a luncheon, featuring special guest Dawne Gee, WAVE 3 news anchor.
“We are extremely pleased to offer this event celebrating the achievements and unique attributes that women bring to the workplace and community,” said Kathy Jacobs, executive director of the PACC.
“We are honored that Ms. Gee will be sharing her experiences with us that day.”
In addition to the sessions and luncheon, the first “Strong Woman Leadership Award” will be presented at the conclusion of the day and drawings will be held for several prizes.
“Strong Leadership, Strong Women 2012” is open to all women and reservations are required.
The registration fee, which includes lunch, is $25 if paid in February and $35 starting March 1.
Participants will receive a binder and bag filled with gifts from PACC members.
The event is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 28, at Hunting Creek Country Club.
