Four Oldham County schools failed to make their yearly improvement goals under the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
Oldham County and South Oldham middle schools and La Grange and Kenwood Station elementary schools did not meet all of their goals for improvement in 2008-09. Test scores show each school met its math goals, but each had one group of students miss their reading improvement goals.
At La Grange, SOMS and OCMS, special education students were the only ones not to meet their goal. At Kenwood, students from families with lower incomes missed their reading goal.
