For the second time in the past three years, the Oldham County Fiscal Court has a balanced budget. After the second reading of the court’s budget on Tuesday, county officials approved the budget that includes a $203,101 ending balance surplus.
There are few changes from the first reading of the budget ee" all state-required changes that affect eight line items.
Most of the line items, like training benefits, Social Security and the retirement match, saw an increase. Truck licensing fees decreased by almost $50,000 due to state-required changes.
