Representatives from the first-grade classes at St. Francis School in Goshen recently delivered three carloads of toys, clothing, diapers, books and art supplies to Wayside Christian Mission’s Child Development Center, which provides daycare services for up to 50 homeless children age five and younger in the community.
The project began in September with a visit from Wayside representatives.
After the presentation, the students began a three-month program to earn money and collect items that could be used by the center.
