Fire departments will test hydrants during next few months

Members of the Ballardsville Fire Department are planning routine fire hydrant maintenance throughout the district beginning next month. 

Anyone who has questions or concerns is asked to call BFD between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 222-1953.

Members of La Grange Fire and Rescue will test fire hydrants in the city and the district. 

Hydrant tests are planned through Sept. 14.

During this time, residents may experience some water discoloration. 

Anyone who has questions is asked to call LFRD at 222-1143.
