Emergency notification system coming soon

An automated system that will send phone calls to Oldham County residents in case of emergency will soon beoperational. Members of Oldham County Fiscal Court approved a one-year contract with WonWay Communications March 4. The emergency notification service will be monitored by Kevin Nuss, emergency management director and director of Oldham County Dispatch. Nuss is awaiting approval from all six cities before Judge-Executive Duane Murner will sign the contract.
