East Oldham Middle School hosts real-world science fair

From a mock “methamphetamines lab” set up by the Kentucky State Police to a demonstration of Lego robots, seventh graders at East Oldham Middle School toured a two-day display of science in the real world. This non-traditional science fair has become a tradition at East Oldham. Instead of the students conducting and presenting experiments, community members bring their work to the students.“The goal is to give the students a vision of how science is integrated into everyday vocational fields,” said science fair coordinator Chris Rairick.
