Crestwood’s sole grocery store is now under new ownership, but the new owners are quite familiar with the store.
The supermarket, at the corner of Ky. 146 and Ky. 329 in Crestwood, is now owned by Wesselman’s Supermarket, a hometown grocery chain based in Evansville, Ind.
Officials closed the store at 6 p.m. Monday and planned to reopen on Friday morning.
The new owners are taking inventory, reorganizing and restocking the shelves.
Wesselman’s has six locations in the Evansville and Mount Vernon area.
