Two Crestwood residents – one a Louisville police officer – face several charges relating to an incident during the holiday weekend at Molly Malone’s Pub.
Kathryn Fanning, 23, and Lauren Fanning, 24, are charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
Lauren, a Louisville Metro Police officer who has since resigned, also faces a fourth-degree assault charge in connection with the incident Nov. 27 at Molly Malone’s in St. Matthews.

Officers responded to a call that two females were causing a disturbance in the bar.
According to the arrest report, security guards said Kathryn was being kicked out of the bar for throwing a drink at someone.
She allegedly began using racial slurs towards an employee and kicked him in the leg.
When a detective asked her to leave, she refused.
She said she “knows people at Valhalla [and will have the detective fired,” the report says.

Valhalla is a private Louisville golf club that will host PGA championships in 2011 and 2014.

Once outside, detectives asked the women repeatedly to leave the premises either in a cab or find a ride home.
According to the report, Kathryn’s eyes were bloodshot and she had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.
She also yelled profanities at the officer.
When detectives told her she was under arrest, the report says she pulled away and fell, then kicked the detective three times in the groin with her high-heeled boots.
During this time, Lauren’s arrest report states that she hit the arresting officer in the back of the neck with her fist.
When a witness attempted to help the officer, she punched him in the face.
Each sister stowed a half-empty bottle of liquor in her purse. Officers found a bottle of vodka in Kathryn's purse and a bottle of Early Times whiskey in Lauren's purse.
