Cornerstone Cafe robbed, driver allegedly attempts to run over witness

Police are investigating a robbery reported Feb. 7 at Cornerstone Cafe in Buckner. According to police, a possibly known suspect took a storage bin on caster wheels from the rear of the restaurant and tossed it in the bed of a pickup truck about 2:50 p.m. As the suspect left the Cornerstone Cafe, police say the driver attempted to run over a witness with the truck. The storage bin is valued at $325. Anyone with information is asked to call Oldham County Police at 222-1300.
