Community support is key for scholarship program

To the editor:

People who work behind the scenes of something extremely worthwhile often go unrecognized for their contributions. 

Although we cannot name each individual who contributed to yet another successful scholarship year, Oldham County Dollars for Scholars wants to acknowledge our community for making our success possible. 

Hundreds of people volunteered again this year in one capacity or another: scoring applications, judging essays, verifying information, attending fund raisers and sponsoring scholarships. Thank you!
